Get in tune with darkness… We are taught to be afraid, or sad in darkness, but what if we became comfortable with its mystery and sweet hush from the business of the day?  Learn about the creatures that thrive in the dark and the ways that darkness is important for our well-being. (Meeting point at Ken-Gar Palisades Local Park.)

In May of 2023, Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy declared an epidemic of loneliness in the United States.  The Western ideal of individualism is harming us.

Woman Stands Shining (Pat McCabe, Diné, Lakota) teaches us about the sacred hoop by which we are all connected.  If one part of the hoop fails, the entire hoop starts to unravel.  McCabe writes, “I can’t be well if you’re not well.”

Groups give us the chance to check in with one another; to learn the answer to, “Are you well?”  And if you are not well, what can we do to help you be well?
